DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!28.25x32.25" frame contains mixed media original art for cover to Sergeant Preston Of The Yukon #13, published by Dell Nov. 1954 - Jan. 1955. Art is attributed to Ernest Nordli (1912-1968), a Disney animation designer and layout artist who also provided cover art for Dell's Lone Ranger, Cisco Kid and Red Ryder comic books. Art shows Sergeant Preston holding piece of cloth up to his canine sidekick King to get scent. Art has been professionally double-matted to 13-3/8x18.75" under glass alongside reading copy of the comic this art was created for (which is slightly loose in display). Art has some scattered minor wear but still displays Exc. as framed. Social/Sharing |
