DescriptionThis is my favorite of the batch of George Scarbo's Zoo's Who panels that I received. It's the only one I have not been able to track down a date for, but all of the pieces have been from 1948 or 1949, so circa 1948 is right smack in the ballpark. The drawing of the horse is marvelous, especially with the slight split-brush approach. And that monkey! Wonderfulness!Social/Sharing |

The drawings all stand the test of time and look quite like they would be drawn if done today.
