Description
Penciled by Hal Forrest and inked by Reynold Brown in the later years of the strip (1936-1942), Tailspin Tommy ran in newspapers from 1928 to 1942. The character was in the movies in the 30’s and surprisingly didn’t take off after World War II started. I think the artwork is strong and a great example of the Golden Age of strip art. The actual artwork is huge, and much larger than 2x up comic art.

Fine line illustrative quality that brought a lot of high flying war adventure and it also informed the general public about how the rich traveled by air.

Very nice!  Tailspin Tommy was a fun strip to read and doesn't get enough attention.  It is nice that you credit Brown as his style clearly took over when he started assisting Hal in the mid 30's.  These Sundays are huge and at one point you couldn't call your self a strip art collector without owning at least one of these.
