DescriptionI quickly became a huge Josh Cassara fan as soon as I discovered his art. After interacting with him via Twitter a bit, he turned out to be an amazingly nice and humble person as well. We discussed how we were both glad the editors decided to go with his idea for this cover. Gulliver's Travels wasn't my favorite book in high school but it made a lasting impression and this scene with the Lilliputians, regardless of how one feels about the actual story, is a classic in itself. Seeing this cover also made me want to reread the book so I'll have to hunt down a copy!Josh was awesome enough to gift me a Spider-Man headshot along with the cover - thank you again! Oh, that's great. Mixing comics with a fave novel from high school, and throw in Josh doing the art...splendid! I'm too a big fan of his, and quickly became so, when I dug into his art earlier this year. And yes, super nice dude! So many little guys on this piece, and of course really dig Josh's subtle tonal work. Congrats, T!

Cassara's covers are already a favorite amongst many who are recognizing emerging talents with unique artistic voices. His art is always reliably enthralling and his varied cover art shows his range on storytelling through images.

Took me a few moments to figure out those are all tiny Doctor Dooms! I love it!

Definitely original from a comic cover perspective! I grew up with the Disney cartoon not the book and remember this well. Nice!

Maestro's Travels. I love all the Gulliver's travels cover homages. One of my very favorites is the golden age captain America one, with a hand reaching out of a cave to grab at Cap. Cassara is so good. He puts so much detail on each page. And all the ink washes, and little tricks he adds. Very nice. Congrats!

Thanks JH! I haven't seen the other cover homages, will have to look them up! And agreed, no wonder Marvel named Josh one of the "Stormbreakers". He really is taking the comic art world by... storm haha!

Here's the one I was talking about. I should've linked it before. Lazy. :)

It's so hard to pull off scale like this, but Cassara executed it flawlessly. Also, that's awesome that he shared the process with such detailed prelims.
