DescriptionLong-time followers might remember that the very first All-Star Squadron commission I ever had done (in December 2017!) was a fantasy cover for an All-Star Squadron Handbook, drawn by Chris Ivy, adapted from the 1960s Marvel Legacy Handbook. And after a long time thinking about it......here's Volume 2, again drawn by Chris, and adapted from the 1970s Marvel Legacy Handbook, original art by Sal Buscema. Lots of Fawcett heroes, a couple of the retconned characters from the 1980s, a few JSA members, and some stalwarts of the Seven Soldiers Of Victory and the Freedom Fighters - can you name 'em all? And yes, I know that Uncle Sam didn't really demonstrate the ability to grow to giant size until after the Bronze Age, but I take the view that he was shown as a symbolic giant on a number of Golden Age covers, so I'm sticking with it. I always recognize Amazing-Man because he's the big standout entry in Who's Who #1 that I had never seen before.
