Adventure 457 Cover by Milgrom

Wow, that's a beautiful cover! I thought it was curious when I first layed eyes on my Holy Grail Hulk #272 cover and saw some bits of Joe Kubert inking techniques on certain areas, but this is now the 2nd time I've seen Milgrom use that technique, as the Superboy figure really has that Kubert technique on it and this cover came 4 years before mine. I'll have to ask Al if it was a conscious or subconscious decision someday. Kudos on owning this one!

An eye catching cover to say the least. Who wouldn't take this from the spinner rack to check the story out !!

I remember this striking image well.  Superboy's short stint in Adventure Comics produced more memorable moments for me than his own solo titles which are more of a blur and this is certainly one of those moments.

The sullen look of defeat where Superboy can't win this fight over the hearts and minds of those who choose to refuse the people that help them.  The angle used and the shadows on this are amazing.
