Description

Bo Hampton has been doing his own made up covers of silver age with a few featuring Adam Strange. When he was doing this one I had to jump on the inked version. I love Bo's work and love Adam Strange. Note Bo's process is quote from Bo himself "what I do is lightbox my new pencil drawing over my old pencil drawing and then ink over that new pencil version which is always a bit changed from my original pencil only version."

Still mad that Tom King decided to ruin the character. King did not deconstruct or add any enhancement to the character he just destroyed the once noble character and killed him. At least someone else can just ignore that down the road but another nail in the coffin for me to even follow any super hero books anymore.

The nice inking and augmentations add to the classic age of Sci-Fi illustration feel of the piece. The core of this is Adam Strange with Alanna posed and drawn like they belong in that era of heroism with gizmos and rocket ships that only existed in imagination.
