Description

Mike Maihack is the cartoonist of Cleopatra in Space, a science-fiction adventure story. It started as a webcomic and is now published by Scholastic's Graphix. I first saw some examples of his art on his deviantart site. I bought a few things from his Operation Space Cat store. When the American Library Association Annual Conference was in San Francisco in 2015, I got the chance to meet Mike in person. I saw him at the San Mateo Library in 2018. The sixth and final Cleopatra was published in 2020. Cleopatra in Space is available as an animated series from the Peacock streaming service. One can see the official trailer on YouTube.

In the November 2021 Comic Art Live, I found this Gwen Stacy offered by Brian Mulcahy. The price was good and I don't see as many opportunities as I'd like so it was an easy purchase decision. The transaction went very smoothly.
