Warlock issue 5 page 17 by Gil Kane and Tom Sutton (1973)

Adam's Counter Earth adventures weren't real cosmic but the books were illustrated by Gil Kane so it was hard to pass this page up. I've ignore too many early Warlock pages due to cool Avengers or Defenders pages offered at the same time. This time Adam won out! Can't own the all but glad I have this one! Here is HA's write up:


Gil Kane and Tom Sutton Warlock #5 Story Page 17 Original Art (Marvel, 1973). Adam Warlock catches the attention of Victor von Doom of Counter-Earth on this page featuring the golden cosmic hero set to make his MCU debut in the next Guardians of the Galaxy movie. From Gil Kane's early run on the title, rendered in ink and halftone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, tape residue staining on the edges, stripped-in text correction in Panel 2 held by tape on the back, taped text in Panels 2 and 3 and page number paste-up in bottom margin, blue pencil editorial marks and whiteout corrections, with light handling wear. In Very Good condition.
