Waid and Garney's popularity on this run came about organically after the 90's hype titles came and went. It hit on solid stories and art which was a refreshing change of pace for collectors. This Double pager pulls no punches and presents a high watermark of their run.

Love it! Great pure illustration, and so dynamic! And kinda cool that he's saving the Skull here - worst bad dude in the MU but Cap's adamant about taking him in. Congrats, Dan!

Just a fantastic DPS - Cap and Red Skull, with Cap protecting RS is just great subject matter - and then the execution of it is just super. This has McNiven vibes for me, congrats!
