Azrael Annual #3 p16 (1997) Jim Aparo / James Hodgkins

90's art is blazing hot and this page features DC's anti-hero Azrael in unique large panel layout.

The annuals this year had the 'pulp hero' theme and Denny O'Neil went for a pulp noir feel that is clearly evident from that oversized first panel as a cat-o-nine-tails takes out a thug leader followed by other henchmen in subsequent panels also featuring Azrael. A few pages later it is revealed Catwoman orchestrated the rescue. Pencils by the great Jim Aparo beautifully inked by Hodgkins.

Page has a piece of tape in the top and bottom margins and is in overall very good condition showing normal wear from handling and age.
