Richard Dragon Kung-Fu Fighter #15 p.7

Page from the 1977 Richard Dragon Kung-Fu Fighter, that features the main trio of characters honing their swordplay skills for the upcoming battle: Richard Dragon, Ben Turner (aka Bronze Tiger) and Lady Shiva Woosan.

It's nice to have all three characters featured on a single page.

This is probably my second favorite image of Lady Shiva in this entire run of Richard Dragon. (If anyone has a line on #9 p. 5, let me know!)


Also, I prefer when Ric Estrada inks himself in this title, rather than the inkers they would typically assign him on other issues. When inking himself, the imagery reminds me more of Alex Toth, rather than Vinnie Colletta. :)

"When Janey is killed by the Axeman, Richard and Ben search for the man responsible. Created in ink over graphite on DC Bristol board with image areas of 10" x 15." The page is signed by Estrada. There is tape residue along some of the borders, some areas of toning, marginal production notes, and correction marks in whiteout and blue pencil."
