This cover is clear evidence there should be a bunch of 1940s pulp crime-noir Star Wars paperbacks with all the glorious cover art to go with them. Nice one!

When it's done traditionally, it gives the image an authenticity that can't be faked of manipulated especially when the subject matter is old westerns where we were informed visually through the historical paintings on record of that era.
