Description

25.25" x 19.25" by David Hardy. Original gouache painting on illustration board, circa 1979. From the Norman Jacobs / Starlog Collection. Published in 1993 for Starlog's Space Art trading card set. For space art fans, this is a famous painting and unusually large with incredible detail. Good art by Hardy is scarce and I was elated to secure one of his epic masterpieces.

The landscape and space scene is so clear which can only happen with a heavy gravitational pull where the dust does not enter the atmosphere.
