Description

Ebay purchase - hard to pass up something done by Samnee that fit right in the wheel house of my collection. So here we are :) It's a little bit of the looser Samnee style from years past and his recent work has a crispness to it that comes with the confidence of cementing a style. But there's no question this still clearly shows the trademark grasp of shadow and negative space we've come to love from him. I'll add on to what Chris said and say "Thanks, Pat" as well!

Fortuitous eBay find :) As you say, right up your alley, man. Great example of Samnee's uber grasp of exhibiting negative space in his art. And I like the light source clearly coming from the bottom. I need some Samnee in the collection soon! Congrats, man!

I love how Samnee uses shadows and negative space to define his imagery. Miller-esque, of course, but his own, too. That fore gun is drawn entirely with shadows and open space, which is awesome. Fantastic Cable eBay score. Congrats!
