Oh, how interesting! Nice Supergirl image and aerial view. Yes, the look of the board and the placement of the lined border makes it look very much like card art. Though with the popularity of the Superman titles at the time, I suppose it could also have been an illustration for a specialty type of book sold in book stores, aimed at younger readers with full splash pages telling the story. It could have been used for any number of things, really. Really neat, either way!

Coming out of a mausoleum is not as dramatic as clawing through six feet of dirt. The Supergirl drawing is definite 90's pin up style.

According to the story line Project Cadmus stole Superman's body in order to clone him.
