Description

When I was a little kid I found huge piles of European comics in my father's old bedroom at my grandma's house. Between these European comics were some comics of the Dutch translated versions of Amazing Spider-Man and Uncanny X-Men. Later after I reread these issues for the millionth time I started reading the current issues of these Dutch versions. After a few years I discovered that these are translated versions of US comics and found out that there were some specialty comic stores in The Netherlands selling these original US comics! How cool was that!

Amazing Spider-Man #384 is story-wise in the Spider-Man history an average issue (at most), but for me it means a lot as this is the first issue of the original ASM that I bought from the stand. I can say that owning a page of this issue with Spidey on it is a real "grail" for me!

These storylines were carried by Bagley and Emberlin visuals as Spidey is on trial for bringing Venom into the world. They keep these scenes interesting with new and different ways to show familiar Spidey poses unique to their art team as the flagship title of the Spidey line of books.
