This is one of my favorite Supergirl pages from the Peter David-Leonard Kirk-Robin Riggs era of Supergirl.
Purchased from Robin Riggs at Heroes Con 2001.
In the interregnum as I like to call it, when the true Supergirl, Kara Zor-El was absent from the DC Universe, we Supergirl fans were pacified by the Linda Danvers Supergirl.
Peter David had paid homage to Kara already by giving us Linda Danvers which was Kara's civilian identity in the pre-crisis universe.
On this poignant page, Peter David pays further homage to Kara.
Supergirl is in the depths of despair when her guardian angel appears and gives her renewed hope.
