DescriptionImperial Knight Jao Assam is awaiting execution, and Ania Solo is on a mission to intercede. But when it is discovered that Jao has escaped (with the Sith Darth Wredd) Ania has doubts about her friend. But she still has to rescue him, just in case he isn't a bad guy. And that means a shadowy meeting with the Empress.Empress Fel enlists Ania Solo and her friends in a covert rescue mission, but Ania and her pals are unaware they're headed into a showdown between the Sith and the Imperial Knights (and their stormtrooper allies) that could alter the balance of power in the galaxy! From issue 16 of Legacy (Vol. 2), which rushes towards its conclusion in issue 18 due to the license transfer from Dark Horse to Marvel. Thanks to Mark over at Splash Page for helping with this one! Thies plays up that old lived in world look and adds a touch of the supernatural. That last panel with the shadows could be a scene in a graveyard with a tomb instead of a door. If you think about it, these force users have mitichlorians in their blood and besides, "The dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities, some considered to be unnatural."

You can almost hear a western wind and the jingle of Boba Fett's Spurs.

Great page!!!
I enjoyed the washtone inks Brian did for this series. I think they look better uncolored, and would have been a standout series if they had printed it that way.
