Kane's sense of design is right on target with the horse foreshortening and the forest filled just enough to give depth to the scenery. The Chan artistry takes over with lush inking and drawing in the finer points of the scene. Conan and his horse are fleshed out to be more powerful and in line with the standards set forth by himself and the long legacy of the title.
