Jeff Lemire is, to my mind, one of the best writers in the comics industry's history. No hyperbole. I've gotten to know him well over the years and consider him a friend, and love everything he's done from his creator-owned work to his superhero stuff to the Valiant work and everything in between. This is a page from this work that really put him on the map -- Essex County. It's twice up, so large I couldn't scan it despite having a large flatbed scanner.
