Description

Outside of Luke Skywalker taking down the AT-AT in the opening of Dark Empire it doesn't get any better than Luke DOUBLE-WIELDING Lightsabers alongside a frickin' Hoojib.

I know lots of folks think of Jaxxon as the mascot for the Marvel Comics Star Wars. But for me there was the Planet of the Hoojibs read-a-long which was adapted from the Marvel Comics. So with Luke and a Hoojib, how could I pass this up? Long Live The Hiromi Empire!!!!!

Heritage Auction Description:
Cynthia Martin, Steve Leialoha, and Ken Steacy Star Wars #105 Story Page 20 Original Art (Marvel, 1986). Luke Skywalker leads the fight! Martin and Leialoha are credited with layouts for Ken Steacy's stylized finishes. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Paste-ups, whiteout correction/clean-up, irregular trimming, and minor staining. In Very Good condition.

Nice grab! Still looking for a Steacy page from the original series. Hard to find, and that one is a standout with Luke and company along with Leia and Dani at the top of the page too. Congrat!

That's great with Steacy's art of Jedi Luke having that stylized 80's look. The pose suggests that he's dancing his way down the steps.

I'm not familiar with this section of Star Wars lore at all but this is a cool page. Also...are some of those bug dudes wearing berets like they were French resistance fighters? Because I am HERE for it.

Planet of the Hoojibs and Droid World were staples of my childhood. I was shocked when I discovered that they were based on Marvel comics. Big congrats on landing this awesome page!
