Mesmerizing.....love it. Congrats
The great beauty and elegance of nature comes in this 11" x 17" board!
yay, so so glad this went to you, I know how much you wanted it
beautiful piece Johnny, congrats!
We both love Siya's work, but the detail in pencil for Peter to paint shows such reverence to Turner. What a perfect piece, not only in the visual narrative, but the creative significance. Beautiful addition, Johnny!
Jawdroppingly beautiful cover by Siya to Michael Turner's Fathom. This cover features the girl Aspen, who was adopted and raised as a human, but discovers her true nature as one of the Blue, a race of humanoid beings who live in the sea. Even from the scan, you can see the charm and refinement of Siya's pencils, which revel in both the beauty of the sea and the beauty of Aspen herself. Her delicate detailing of the coral reef is exquisite. This issue of Aspen #1 commenorates the 20th anniversary of the first issue of Fathom back in 1998, making this issue a very special one for the book's creator.
This is stunning. I think Turner himself would have approved of this rendition. Wow.
