Stunning final movie festival painting (1984) by Drew Struzan…featuring a prime era Darth Vader & E.T.!!!

In 1984, in conjunction with the Los Angeles Summer Olympic Games, the American Film Institute organized a film festival for the attending athletes: “America’s Movies for the World’s Athletes”. It included the American classics Stagecoach (1939), Citizen Kane (1941), Singing in the Rain (1952), Star Wars (1977), On Golden Pond (1981) & E.T. the Extraterrestrial (1982)…and of course the festival poster was designed by Drew…
This is such a unique combination of some of the best movies of all time…and as all Struzan artwork on very large scale (artboard 76cm x 76cm)…

A celebration of film expressed to the world audience by one of the greats at movie poster illustration! It is America's best export to influence and inspire the rest of the world with film.
