Great one Dave! Congrats on such a beautiful piece!
Awesome transformation scene in classic Sal style! Congrats!
Outstanding! Hard to beat a Hulk transformation piece. I like here that he's got the exact same expression all the way through, and you got 5 head shots! Awesome way to start out the year on the commission front. I'm in a similar boat. Will have a good chunk of commissions to post early this year - well see about later :) Congrats, man!
Thanks KG! Can't wait to see your new gems!

Thank you! In my view, classic is spelled B U S C E M A!
Such a great choice for Sal! Love these 70's feeling transformation pieces.
Sal hasn't lost a step. Great piece from an OG, man!
Never made it as a wise man
I couldn't cut it, too late for a drawing
Tired of collecting like a blind man
I love to see Sal Buscema art with feeling
And this is how you remind me
This is how Hulk reminds me
Of what I really am
This is how Sal reminds me
Of Jack Kirby and Stan
It's not like Hulk to say sorry
It was always going to be Bruce and Betty
This time Sal has taken
Story of Jeckyll and Hyde worth adaptin'
And I've been wrong, I've been down
Been to the bottom of the portfolio
These five faces of my head
Scream, "Are we wearin' pearls yet?"
Classic, I owe you a nickel and a beer when we meet some day Marcus. Thanks as always!
So cool
Great score Dave, that's a killer Transformation page!
Thank you my friend! Great DD show with JJ recently, I really enjoyed it and might have been in trouble on the double pager transformation if I had been able to catch live. Hope you are well!
Wow -- that's so great! Big congrats on getting that before Sal decided to stop doing more detailed commissions! By any chance is that an homage to the great Bob Larkin cover from the 1978 Fireside Incredible Hulk reprint book?
Thanks Ted, I feel very fortunate! Great guess, but no cee-gar
Aww -- there is a certain similarity, but I guess I'll have to keep looking...
Such an awesome piece by the master
Baller.
Amazing transformation piece by a master of the subject! Congrats Dave and thanks for sharing!
"I HAVE THE POWER!"
Wrong franchise but cool piece!
Excellent!
Dave, this is classic Buscema - and what better than the classic Banner to Hulk transformation. The Kirby sparkles really brings the amazing history of this great character. Congrats on this!
Cool Splash!
This is great Dave,I love Sals work ! Congrats !
Okay, so I guess you've decided that you're not messing around this year. Two killer pieces and we're only ten days in. If that's the way it's gonna be, let me go make some popcorn and just sit here in front of my computer while I wait for the next show. Anyway, congrats on this SB commission. I know what a big Sal fan you are, so the art high from a piece like this will probably last a while. Enjoy it my friend.
Thanks my friend! You comments are always appreciated. Get an exra large tub of that popcorn, more to come!
That's What I Call, MacDaddy
Very cool take on the cover of What If? #12!
And we have a winner! ... the No Prize has been claimed!
Awesome transformation!
Awesome commission, congratulations! Sal Buscema is the Hulk artist, for me.
Woooo that's a killer splash!!
this is next level!! awesome. congrats!
What If #12! Where's my No Pri....DAMMIT! ;) You pulled an Indiana Jones slide under the closing gate, and got the golden bust, Dave. A little bittersweet, to be sure, but so good. Very cool homage, and top-notch Sal work. Hulk Approve, No Smash! Congrats
I can understand having a HUGE smile when opening this one. Absolutely STUNNING Sal B Hulk transformation piece!!!
Thanks Paul! Nothing like getting a commission from a favorite artist that exceeds expectations! Always the best packages to open.
Very nice!
I saw this when you posted it a couple days ago and I keep coming back to it, drinking in all the details and gorgeousness of this piece. Congrats!
Straight up Killer Piece!
Wow! Spectacular!
This does beg once again asking the age old question...Where does he get those super stretchy trousers and why does he not get the rest of his clothes made of the same material?
Wow - I hadn't spotted that one in your collection, Dave. That's incredible! Transformations are hard to find, but splashes? A wonderful, explosive piece. Congrats!
