Inktober #27 2017 by Mike Maihack

      Mike Maihack is the cartoonist of Cleopatra in Space, a science-fiction adventure story. It started as a webcomic and is now published by Scholastic's Graphix. I first saw some examples of his art on his deviantart site. I bought a few things from his Operation Space Cat store. When the American Library Association Annual Conference was in San Francisco in 2015, I got the chance to meet Mike in person. I saw him at the San Mateo Library last year and Mike drew remarques in my Cleopatra books. I looked over his offerings online and decided to pick up the last of his Inktober girls. This image looks like a fashion shot. I like the elegance of the outfit with the casual shoes.
