Stan Sakai - Usagi Yojimbo and Dragon Illustration Original Art (1988). Leapin' Lepus! Usagi is in battle with a fiery magical dragon on this bold and vibrant color piece by his creator, Stan Sakai. It is also an early illustration, as it bears Sakai's red Hanko stamp in the lower left, which he no longer uses. Produced in ink with gouache and acrylic washes on bright white 11" x 14" Bristol board. Signed and dated in the lower right. In Excellent condition.
