Description
Princess Mononoke San and Okkoto Production Cel and Animation Drawing (Studio Ghibli, 1997). "No! I don't want to become a demon! Please stop, Okkoto!" The boar god Okkoto carries San in his mouth as he is slowly corrupted into a demon in the thought-provoking Studio Ghibli classic Princess Mononoke, directed by the great Hayao Miyazaki. Princess Mononoke is Miyazaki's last film to be animated traditionally on acetate cels, making original production cels like this historically significant treasures. A magnificent piece from the harrowing scene, this cel can be seen at the 1:44:04 mark of the film. The memorable, wormy demonic effect was composited digitally in the final shot. The cel is joined by its matching original animation drawing, adhered to the back of the cel. Both the cel and the drawing are numbered B2 in the upper right corner. The detailed image measures a large 11.75" x 8" on the 13.75" x 9". The condition is Very Good.
