Marvel 2-in-One Annual #1 pg. 7 (2018)
The title really should be Doom vs. Doom. That's what I love about this page. Thing is merely a spectator.

This is the piece that really got me hooked on comic art. The detail, the shading, the contrasting use of dark and light in Doom's face, the texture by Shalvey is awesome. Holding it in your hand, seeing the technique up close (as opposed to an online scan) made me very happy with my purchase and made me want more. Having my two favorite characters doesn't hurt either!

Dr. Doom takes on all challengers no matter who's title he's appearing in! He's one of the few you can be sure there is no chance he's coming out looking bad. Shalvey does great widescreen art to show how grand this battle is.

A man after my own heart! Love this page and this issue overall. Evidence? I've got the page right after this one in my gallery! I mean how can you not like Doom vs. Doom as rendered by Shalvey! Arrogance just OOZING off the page :) Liking that horizontal panel layout too. Works well moving down/through the scene. Congrats!
