Description

This cel comes from the Japanese animated (Toei) X-Men pilot episode "Pryde of the X-Men" from 1988. The 80's was when Wolverine's brown and tan costumed debuted, specifically in Uncanny X-men 139 drawn by John Byrne. It was brought to life for the first time in this short lived cartoon which was his second animated appearance behind Spider-man and his Amazing Friends.

The cel was used in the episode itself as Wolverine is introduced for the first time and in the closing credits. So excited to have another cel of this sequence showcasing the excellent Japanese animation style of the time.

Love seeing the animation from Pryde of the X-Men, the episode that really started the X-Men animation universe. Congrats!

That's great! Hard to beat Wolverine mid-SNIKT! Also...the brown and tan costime. The best IMO! Congrats!
