Will Walt Disney artwork be reusable ?

Collier's Magazine founded in 1888 always commissioned famous writers to report on historical and political events. Colliers ultimate goal: to seek the truth while striving for excellence in creativity and originality. Each issue featured original drawings or paintings in addition to cartoons, and comic strips. These illustrations usually tied in with the articles written for each issue.
In the January 20, 1940 issue H.I. Philips wrote a short story titled "Little Red Riding Hood as a dictator would tell it." It was a parody or farcical imitation of Disney's version of the 'BIG BAD WOLF' and LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD published in 1934. It was a comment on the Winter War, also known as the First Soviet-Finnish War (1939-40) with the Soviet Union (USSR) invading Finland. Disney's exceptional artist Hank Porter made a few changes in the art of the 1934 book version with his ink and watercolor paintings. The more menacing wolf represents the Communist Soviet Union with the wolf resembling Josef Stalin, with his starred cap, mustache, and pipe. Little Red represents the Finish Democratic Republic. Unfortunately in this version both granny and her get eaten up. - Do you suppose the artwork could possibly be reused in association with Valdimir Putin and the on going Ukraine conflict? You will have to research the 1939-40 war to see what both sides lost. - The art is on Bristol board with each board measuring approximately 17"x 13.75", affixed to a backing board. One image is 10.5"x9.5" while the other is 12.5"x 9.25".
