DescriptionGreat all-out battle cover from 1993!! I love big group shots like this, and Cap looks great with his shield held high.But the big selling point for me was … Spider Queen! She’s there in the lower right with the red eye mask, getting whalloped by Miss America. Being a Spider-Man fan, I definitely had to own a cover featuring the Spider Queen! Dave Hoover definitely brought the heat with this early ‘90s cover!! Thanks for looking. Social/Sharing |

The "...and more" are, Human Meteor, Strongman, Volton, and Dr. Death. Great 90's battle cover! Congrats!

So, remind me, was Spider Queen one of Ziggy Stardust's Spiders from Mars? Ziggy could take on the entire Invaders squad all by himself, but he couldn't make it to this rumble. But they all look great, especially Cap. Kudos!

Great cover! I really dug Dave Hoover's take on these characters even if this screamed 1990's as opposed to 1940's! Sad that he left us much too soon!

Wonderfully patriotic and a triumphant celebration of those old school heroes and their wholesome values! It is structured like a statue with Cap rising above the fray to be a beacon symbolizing the ideal of freedom!

Roy Thomas told great stories whenever Marvel or DC gave him access to their Golden Age characters, but he made magic when paired with an artist like Dave Hoover who knew how to really bring those stories to life. Cool cover from a fun miniseries!

Miss America sure knows how to throw a punch. Straight cross, right in the mug. Man, I dig 90s battle covers. And this one is so patriotic! Stars and Stripes, Miss America laying out a baddie, and Cap's shield is the rally point. Cool stuff, Paul. Congrats!
