It's no secret that I have wanted to add a Sal Buscema to my collection for awhile. When this came up on Dueling Dealers I was quick to claim it, thanks to Anthony for bringing this to the show.

It's just a classic Buscema Spidey bust, and I love looking at it.

We all know who the best Buscema is, right Bill?

Sal may be the little brother to big John, but he certainly doesn't take a back seat in the family in terms of artisitc ability and accomplishments. This is a perfect classic Sal Spidey! Congrats!

Love the attitude of that slight tilt. A little choice that adds personality and character to a simple Spidey bust commission. You gotta love Sal. Congrats!

For Spidey, Sal has the look down! That's an ideal head shot, but he adds the linework down the middle for facial features under the mask to make it all his.

Cool piece. For my money, Sal places behind only Ditko and the Romitas in the pantheon of Spidey artists.

Really enjoyed the interview with Bill, man. You have a great collection and it was awesome to see and hear some of those highlights, including this one! Congrats on your first Sal Buscema piece, Eric. A spectacular addition, indeed.

Great Sal pc..a real nice guy. He gave mean impromptu art lesson when I met him as a kid and did a large swinging Spidey on my Pad...I just neeed to find it. 🤔
