DescriptionMy favorite Comic Book from the year 1991!My #2 of my Top Ten Favorite Superman stories ever! For an in-depth explanation of what this comic means to me, listen to me discuss the issue on my podcast here! Very happy to have secured this page from one of my favorite stories ever! Special thanks to Michael McIsaac for giving me the heads up even before I saw this on my CAF alerts and saved searches! Always learning new things with pages. The page is appropriately marked 29 (in terms of the art pages and how the comic pages are numbers within the comic itself), but the reason why 29 is crossed out and the page was sold as 33, is b/c if you count the included ad pages in the Annual, it comes out to be page 33. The overlay features a surprint of the stars in the sky on Almerac (Maxima's home planet). It's interesting b/c the overlay is a bunch of little black dots, but then that surprint was colored white to represent the night sky. Social/Sharing |

Really nice page! I remember this annual from when it came out. I had no idea it was Hitch art.

Each and every panel in this page is a masterwork ! Hitch really stepped up his game with this book ! Love it !
