I am sure everyone has a piece that to use the words grail piece, doesn't quite do it justice. I am honored to be the next custodian of this piece.

This is splash is a sample George used in his sample portfolio, when he was first trying to break into comics.

This depiction of the JLA fighting a group reptilian soldiers, demonstrates Geroge's talent at the time. The attention to detail, depth and scope on this page was already in his toolbox.

Epic JLA piece by the master, George Perez! Very cool to see that, even back in 1972, George was already proficient in figure drawing, composition and page layout. And, you can see his classic style emerging even then! Congrats on a grail level piece, Jay!
