Description
As a friend of mine would say, commissions can be hit or miss. Yet - and as far as I am concerned - this particular one by artist Manuel Garcia is a smashing/blasting/unquestionable hit.The camera angle, the mesmerising pose, the gravitas and sense that Galactus is beyond a person, everything (even the shooting stars) clicks ! Manuel went all the way to fine-tune every little detail, offering here one of the most haunting renditions of the devourer of worlds I have seen, obviously beating my wildest expectations. Thank you again Manuel, you rock !

Very nice piece, it is rare to say I have not seen that pose before but that is the case with Galactus here. Congrats on the pick up.

The work on the arm is fantastically done texturing to give us foreshortening and the 3D effect!  The lighting is also great to give us the partially lit face for extra menace.

Is there a hint of remorse in Galactus's visage here, or is he as impassive as Kirby drew him?  Love the POV in this fantastic piece!

"He's got the whole world in his hands, he's got the ..." Beautiful piece.

Now where did I put the ketchup...This is a striking commission of Galactus. Agree on the angle, what a great choice. And I really like the crags and imperfections in his armor. At his size and age, I feel like his armor would have more of a cracked and rocky consistency, since imperfections and wear would show to people our "size," aka practically microscopic. You know Galan probably doesn't care enough to fix it, he's just worried about his next meal. And all that lovely ink. Winner. Congrats!

Outstanding!  Man, this is alls sorts of good.  Love that upward perspective, and the depth as you move top to bottom or vice versa is killer. Love the rendering, too. Winning image corner to corner.  Magno's really leveled up in terms both published work and commissions and this is no exception!  Congrats!

Another great commission from Manuel. His price value ratio is outstanding. Everyone should get a commission from him.

Phenomenal Galactus commission by Manuel Garcia! Gorgeous illustration from an ant's-eye perspective, looking up at the Devourer of Worlds. Galactus glances downward at the tiny earth nestled neatly in his open hand, obviously intending to consume it at his leisure. Love the chiaroscuro treatment of the light here, with the heavy use of black ink that gives the image such a sense of gravitas. Superb piece!
