In honor of Matt Reeve's newest film hitting this week ... THE BATMAN!

I picked this up on ebay approximately 15 years ago-ish, well before collecting OA was a glint in my eye. I recall reading an article about a charity effort underway and ran across this piece by Daniel Krall, a fantastic illustrator who has work ranging from the New Yorker and GQ to animation, comics, the list goes on.

He also had a great Batgirl companion piece in that auction that I still regret not winning. Oh well, love this take on the Caped Crusader.

what a cool deal. i'm not familar with Daniel's work and your explanation is why. i kind of like these odd ball deals. they're unique and a diffrent take that seems more refreshing then not.
