Marvel Masterpieces 1994 - Werewolf prelim by Hildebrandt

Nice, tight pencils. But I'm curious, is there a specific reason why they dropped the "by Night" from his name for this card? It feels like it's just a generic werewolf when it's labelled that way, whereas always adding the "by Night" designation is what distinguishes the Marvel werewolf from all others.

The card itself is just labeled Werewolf as is the checklist for the set.

I don't know what it is exactly, but I love werewolf pieces and the unique takes artists can make, and they really can show out in terms of their rendering skills with the fur.  OK.  Maybe I DO know what I like about werewolf art!  Stretch to call this a prelim, even though it is, which is a great thing.  Congrats!
