Another Virgil Finlay sketchbook illo, this time from 1933, and entitled "Naidar". I don't know if this refers to a character in a book or not, but if anyone knows, please let me know.

Interesting piece. Love the technique leaving the white ridge lines as highlights.

Naida means water nymph...and she is blue so perhaps that is the idea? Cool piece for sure!
