DescriptionBatman Issue 117 Page 21Writer: James Tynion IV Artist: Jorge Jimenez Monoprint James Tynion’s run on Detective Comics was easily one of my favorite run’s, his use of Tim Drake in particular, was amazing. With his Batman run he challenged himself to create and add to the Batfamily and mythos not relying on the nostalgia of his previous run. I particularly loved his character Clownhunter and while there were things I loved and things I didn’t love I always appreciated the ambition. His main partner in crime Jorge Jimenez did phenomenal work. Tomeu Morey’s colors were amazing and a palette we had never seen in a Batman Comic. Tynion ends on this run on an optimistic and hopeful note. It was refreshing and quite moving The artwork offered here consists of a unique (1/1) original fine art print of the final production file for each published page. The artwork is annotated by hand and is signed by Jorge Jimenez on the back of the page and accompanied by a dual-signed Certificate of Authenticity. Both artwork and COA also bear tamper-proof holograms with matching serial numbers to further establish authenticity and uniqueness of each piece. Social/Sharing |

Jorge has in short order become the best current Batman artist IMO. Can't wait for his run with Chip! Excellent example, congrats!
