DescriptionHere is Frank Miller's second page for She-Hulk # 50; reading either page 6 or 7 is great, but reading them back to back is truly classic. Incredible Frank Miller artwork and fantastic writing that pokes fun at himself, John Byrne, the comic industry ("and now he's dead as Impact Comics")! This 2-page sequence is special to me on so many levels and I am honored to be its caretaker!Social/Sharing |

The Miller art is just terrific, echoes of Sin City. But the caption text is completely over the top. Frank was having a ball as only he can. Congrats.

Wow! Just wow! What a great homage to Byrne (and very funny to boot)! Byrne and Miller are probably my two favorite comic creators so this piece really pushes my buttons - darn it!!

Beautiful page capping off an killer sequence, Jim! Going from the previous splash page, to this two-panel page (with the camera zooming in on She-Hulk's face as her internal dialogue becomes more emotionally pointed as she gets angry) is an expert execution of pulling the reader in. And what's more fun than our favorite creators making good-natured jabs at themselves and each other? The enduring affection for the title is well-deserved, and a big reason for it is that tone it so "effortlessly" struck (thanks to all of Mr. Byrne's very hard work). An absolute delight to see Frank jump in the sandbox and play, too, and there can be no better curator for these pages, Jim: MEGA-congrats!
