Man, that's so fabulous. Even cooler to know that you were already collecting art by 1994. Kudos, Don, nice share!

Wow - and you kept this gem to yourself for close to 30 years.

If there was a coin flipped, who won? Either way, you won.

Bruce Wayne or Da Vinci? Awesome piece, I don't think I've ever seen it before--perfect subject matter for Mignola.

Who would have thought of Leonardo being an inspiration for Mignola? Almost like a collage. Congrats.

Each image on this would be amazing on their own, but to see them all put together as a Mignola drawing is ridiculously cool. Thanks for sharing!

I'll just say it, I miss this version of Mike. The Mike who was still on fire to experiment and incorporate painterly techniques and was meticulously careful in his use of photo reference and who's linework was razor sharp and clear as peels of a church bell on Sunday morning. His work today is still amazing on an entirely different level and in a much different way, but this Mike was cooking with gas and I miss him.

I miss this version of Mike too. Theres only so far you can go with simplifying shapes and compostional placement. This is eye candy!

I love the layout and how clear and precise the inks are.

Really nice page !! And it brings us back to how Leonardo's batwings influenced Bob Kane's Batman. Also as previously mentioned, this was a great look from Mignola.

Incredible example of Mignola's work. The published cover is cool but this blows that away with art I don't remember seeing. Score!
