Description

An earlier page from Terry Beatty's MS. TREE run using the classic nine-panel-grid. In these early issues Ms. Tree's kiss-curl forelock was omnipresent. Terry's use of the silhouette in the final panel is a nice way to break up the page graphically.

Purchased from a February 2022 Russ Cochran auction.

The page is signed by author Max Allan Collins, and I suspect it is one of many pages he has consigned to the Russ Cochran folks for auction.

This is served up hot with the varied patterns used to showcase the different characters faces and facial expressions. All inked up with some fine skill to bring all the personalities out. It's not far fetched to have some of them resemble someone you know.
