Warren Kremer preliminary artwork to Little Dot Cover # 2.

It's not unusual for prelims for Harvey titles to pop up from time to time. Like this one, they are typically done on much thinner paper like rice paper. The original published art for Dot # 2 is on CAF and its fun to see the subtle changes that Kremer did for the actual cover.

Things to notice: The bird on the birdbath is not on the finished published version and Spot the dog is shown at a different angle than the published version. Otherwise Kremer kept the artwork pretty much the same.

This is very clean and delicate for something this age! The sense of fun is evident in the design.
