Accomplished in pencil and ink on 11.5 x 17 inch comic art stock. The cover of Eisner Award-winner Powell's "The Goon" #28! From the Sick and Twisted Mind of Eric Powell, a wonderfully stylized and whimsical work here as The Zombie Priest becomes an unwilling agent of the Goon when things heat up in the Labrazio gang war. Could he hold the secret to Labrazio's power and Franky's missing sausage links? Just a great cover!

I haven't read Goon, but what a great cover. Nice use of the spotlight effect. With the eyes wrapped over, can he really be dangerous? Considering the chain, I guess so. Congrats.

I like this character for the same reason I like Marvel Movies - the 'suspend disbelief' comedy narrative; Frankie's missing sausage links.

Bound by chains and by shadows! A Powell cover with a concentrated focused composition to give us all we need with just the character work.
