DescriptionThis is the May. Day 08. Thirty-One days of Star Wars continues...Today's upload features (not yet a mom, but eventually) Princess Leia on a solo mission to seek a new safe haven for the Rebel alliance. While Luke and Wedge try to escape the Empire, and Han and Chewie try to elude bounty hunters, Leia turns toward home. Possibly the last place she should go, she returns to the shattered ruins of Alderaan. There she boards the Audacity, a derelict ship from the Clone Wars, and finds it a floating memorial to the lost planet. A memorial ironically maintained by one of the world's own native sons, Tag Rogaren, who also happened to be the chief weapons systems engineer responsible for the superlaser array on the Death Star. What will Leia do? Especially after he offers her tea and biscuits. Happy Mother's Day, I sure miss mine. Hug yours if you can. Social/Sharing |

Streaks on the Leia
Pictures spread on the Floor, Moff's there
When he force choked lieutenant
And you questioned the force, Vader dared
But sometimes Death Star turned around
And no mom's spared
Luke's hand, look out below
There’s a change in the Han Solo
Gonna need all Tag's help that we can get
According to this page's arrival
Rebels' fight for mere survival
Parsons might have the good inks yet

Mr. Belvedere would have been a great Governor Tarkin.
Great page that brought a nice twist to an excellent story.

Lovely sentiment towards your mom, Jeff. I know only something with that level of importance could have been the reason you didn't even mention your favourite character appearing in the 4th panel!

Well, technically, that's Leila's astromech R2-T4. But he certainly influenced this pick-up. I do love me some R2 units!
