Description

This was nice find on Ebay last year, and a better deal not having to pay high buyer's fees that some other venues charge. What intrigued me about this particular example was the fact that Neal cut apart an existing newspaper strip that someone else drew and used the back of the art page for this strip. When Neal was under tight deadlines to get this strip drawn, he used whatever material he had available to get the job done.

Also of note, when I showed this to Neal's daughter Kris at the studio, she confirmed that the lady in this piece was definitely modeled after her mother Cory, Neal's first wife.
