Description

This 1920 Fontaine Fox cartoon appeared in a 1920 issue of the Woman's Home Companion. The drawing in the cartoon is quite wonderful, while the gag is somewhat pedestrian. But what's really cool about the piece is the fully penciled Toonerville Folks cartoon on the back, featuring the Terrible Tempered Mr. Bang, my favorite of the Toonerville cast. I love process work, so it's wonderful to see this unfinished bit of goodness by Fox.
