DescriptionDay 32. Thirty-One days of Star Wars continues... now onward to 45 days in honor of the 45th anniversary of the original film’s release!Written by Mike Richardson and Randy Stradley. Art by Paul Gulacy and Randy Emberlin. Cover by Dave Dorman. This is deep in the heart of late 1990s Dark Horse Star Wars with all the trappings. As the Baron's forces lay waste to the Interim Council's guarded planet, Sinn and Kanos hurtle toward the heat of the battle in an attempt to thwart the escape of Feena D'Asta's clone. But will they arrive in time? And what happened to the treacherous Grappa the Hutt? Has he escaped unscathed from all the trouble that he raised? And will Feena’s clone meet her end at the tip of Kir Kanas’ blade, before her “father’s” very eyes? Editor’s note - It was bound to happen, but my last two posts skipped a number and were off count. But that has been corrected. To be honest, I haven’t fully counted yet either, but I think I have 15 more pages to carry us through. We’ll find out soon enough! Social/Sharing |

Father of mine
Tell me where's Emberlin?
You know I just start to cry
When Dark Horse disappeared
Feena of mine
Cloned me back in the day
Yeah, when Gulacy's your golden boy
Back before they went away
I remember Jedis in the cell block
I loved the way you had Empire
The truth to hear me talk
You would rent me Star Wars movie
You would take me to the beach
The sand just gets to a place inside
That's so hard to reach
Oh!
Father of mine
It's true that I'm a clone
Yeah, Sheev was cloned from Luke's severed hand
But you did not seem to know
Father of mine
Tell me what do you see?
When you look back at your daughter's life
And you don't see me

The Crimson Empire minis remain some of my favorite Star Wars comics ever created. Disney should adapt the first series for Disney+.

That would be a good one, and could be pretty independent of any of the main movie characters. I'd watch it!

Wow, so great to see a page illustrated by artists whose careers go back to the 70's and 80's, it's a nice change of pace. This old school, classic Marvel style gives the art a feeling of being even older than from the 90's. That last panel is absolutely sublime!

Paul and Randy put a lot of effort in these books, and I am more than grateful as a collector for it.

That last panel is awesome. Love the detail and character style. Awesome page.
