Description

Captain America "Ground Zero" signed by artist Lube.

Nice pinup by Italian artist Luciano Bernasconi (aka Lube). Luciano was born in Rome in 1939 and still creates art.

Not sure of the year of this Cap but since its titled Ground Zero done 2001 or thereafter.

Luciano also known alias Lube or Saint Germaine is also known for erotica.

Was told Published as part of his super hero series in China editorial and comics. I do not have a tear sheet.
Nice large piece.

Purchased from Mike Burkey during The Dueling Dealers of Comic Art #62- Basically selling at cost.

It's the ruins from "Ground Zero" after the 9/11 attacks of 2001, so most likely done within a few years after. It's a good claim after you greased him up with offers and he took it.
